The head coach of our hearts is a gentleman

Amidst what might be the messiest coach-transfer process in Philippine football history, Simon McMenemy still remains to be cutest GQMF in the world.

New coach is Hans Michael Weiss, by the way. All part of the Germany visit.

So this happened, complete with television coverage, etc.

Poor Simon wasn't informed of it apparently and had to get the rest of the details from Facebook. Poor coach.

But then in spite of the heartbreak, he tweets this:

This is what really happened, from Dan Palami's Facebook:

Everyone's cool, coach and Dan Palami will talk, etc. It's so cute how Coach still kept telling people to support the Azkals, even if he isn't coaching them.
Come to think of it I think I should stop calling him coach as that title no longer belongs to him. I might start calling him on a first-name basis instead. It will sound like Simon and I know each other. Right? Right.

Although, still fairly depressing news as he was very good looking as a coach. I'm quite fond of his heavy defensive set-up that left no holes for attacking players of the opposing team. Plus, he's very, very good-looking. I would have wanted to see more of him during the games.

PS: Why didn't they just keep him in the first place?
Apparently Simon (told ya first name basis) doesn't have a UEFA coaching permit necessary to coach the team for the following games. This is when Germany enters. They offered to help the national team, complete with training camps and more underwear models players to add to the roster -- all for free. Included in the package is a selection of coaches to coach the Azkals while Simon is out fixing his papers. In the end, we exchanged the whole Germany experience for Simon. :( We're all trying to move forward here, people. And if it entails leaving Simon behind, then so be it. I think I'm going to cry now.
